Teaching
In phonics lessons, we connect speech sounds to spelling patterns through real words, short texts, and frequent reading aloud. The aim is not to race through a list. It is to give each learner a dependable way to approach an unfamiliar word.
Writing begins with something worth saying. Students learn to organise an idea, choose precise language, and revise one purposeful layer at a time. We read drafts aloud because the ear often catches what the eye misses.
For students working in Australian schools, we practise the discussion, comprehension, and written forms they meet in class while keeping the focus on genuine understanding. Clear structure gives students confidence without making every piece of writing sound the same.
